It is with tremendous regret that WRW Group announces the sudden and tragic passing of our much admired colleague and Director, Raymond Gravell.
Raymond suffered a heart attack whilst on holiday with his family in Spain from which he did not recover and he tragically passed away on Wednesday, 31st October, 2007.
The company’s deepest sympathy and condolences are extended to Mari and his two daughters Manon and Gwenan and our thoughts are with them at this very difficult time.
Ray was a man who epitomised Welsh culture and compassion. His rugby achievements are legendary and since his retirement from the game he went on to reach new heights in broadcasting, acting and indeed throughout Welsh cultural life.
His links with WRW are immense and reach back to a very close and lasting friendship with me and my family.
Within his role as Director, Raymond brought a sense of passion to the company which will be impossible to replace. His pride and sincerity for us all will never be forgotten and we will continue to draw strength from his memory.
